Someone recently asked what is my number-one essential supply I’d keep in my medical kit, and I answered duct tape. She laughed, but it’s true. I love the stuff. It’s one of those items you can use in so many situations, medical and nonmedical. For medical uses, you just need a little know-how, and I provide that in the book.
I purposely published Duct Tape 911 just before Father’s Day because I think it’ll make a great gift for that, but truthfully, it makes a unique gift for birthdays, Christmas, Mother’s Day, or really anytime. Of course, you have to buy one for yourself too!
And it makes a great conversation piece. It’s fun and has plenty of illustrations, but when you get down to basics, it has a serious undertone: how to save a life. Fun but serious—goes along with my mission of teaching people by every means possible about how to handle medical situations any time expert help is not available. Knowing some of the methods described in this book could actually lead to saving a life.
